View Full Version : AC clutch went out!

Thank god for warranty! Taking lucky to Burt to get her fixed up. Anyone ever heard of this happening? Was driving back from Vegas, suddenly had a horrible smell. The clutch was burning up my belt which broke off a few hundred miles later. I wasn't even running the AC, it just went! Ack!

Yeah it happens angie. I used to work for a place that did a/c repair and that wasn't a common thing, but it did happen none-the-less. Sorry it went out tho, and thank god for the warranty right!

wonder if this is related to that deer you hit? Isn't the AC on that same corner?

Or maybe just a freaky coincidence.

Yep sorry to here. At least it was cool out when it broke right? Shoot I was just gonna ask something........oh yeah....The foglight still holding up good?

I must add that Jimmy, the new service/parts manager at Burt is FANTASTIC. They're still waiting on my clutch to come in, but I'm telling you...this guy actually cares. He's very interested in our club, and will be meeting us at a G2G soon!
